The Dust-Season Pressure Bulkhead Array comprised a series of retractable internal bulkheads installed at each dome-junction corridor following the early CO₂ scrubber crisis. The array allowed any individual dome to be sealed from the others within minutes, preventing a life-support failure in one dome from cascading into adjacent pressurized spaces. The design was credited to Dr. Fatima Al-Rashid's post-crisis review recommendations and incorporated into the Martian Dust Season Protocols as a mandatory standard for all subsequently constructed Martian dome complexes. The array was activated in full on multiple separate occasions during the complex's early operational decades, each time successfully containing an atmosphere-management incident within a single dome segment.
