The primary dome's interior rose to a maximum apex height of approximately 340 metres, sufficient to permit a microclimate distinct from the secondary domes, with measurable convective air movement and diffuse natural lighting through the translucent panel array during Martian daytime. The Central Atrium Spire, a latticed observation and communications tower rising 180 metres from the dome floor, served as both a structural anchor point for internal cable systems and the symbolic centre of civic life in the complex. Public gatherings, administrative announcements, and the annual Establishment Day commemorations marking the 2047 CE founding were all held at the Spire's base plaza.
