=== Subsurface Aquifer Tap Network ===
The Subsurface Aquifer Tap Network consisted of eleven primary boreholes ranging from 280 to 440 metres in depth, each equipped with electrothermal extraction equipment that melted and pumped ice-bearing regolith water to surface filtration tanks. The network was designed and installed under Foreman Cassian Obuya's supervision and remained the complex's sole primary water source throughout the [[Chronology of the Aetherium Expanse#era-bootstrap|Bootstrap]] era. Supplemental water recovery from atmospheric condensation and waste reclamation provided a small secondary stream. The network's deepest borehole, designated Tap Seven, reached 441 metres and confirmed a secondary aquifer layer that informed later [[Valles Marineris Excavation Project]] survey planning.
